Revo Sunglasses
Revo sunglasses were developed by an optical engineer working on a NASA research project to develop special coatings for lenses on strategic defense system satellites. The goal was to protect the precision lenses and optics from the sun's harsh rays in outer space. One day he decided to apply the multi-layer thin film coatings to his own sunglasses and REVOlutionized the sunglasses industry.
Revo sunglasses are available with or without polarized lenses. The precision German crystal glass lenses feature multi-layer coatings developed by NASA to maximize visible light and reduce infra-red and reflected ultraviolet rays. In addition, multiple anti-reflective coatings on the back surface of the glasses reduce glare. The finished lens works like a graphic equalizer to selectively transmit light that is most beneficial to vision while minimizing potentially harmful and irritating light.
