Ray Ban SunglassesIn 1937 aviator sunglasses were all the rage, and Ray Ban was born right smack in the middle of it. Since then they've been at the forefront of nearly every major evolution in the sunglasses industry. For a period of time in the late 80's it seemed like the only kind of sunglasses you could buy were Ray Ban - or else a cheap replica thereof.
Ray Ban must have it's own members-only club: for cool people only. I've never been invited to the meetings, but I'm convinced they exist because everytime two people wearing Ray Bans pass each other on the street something silent passes between them, like a "hey, wassup" type of greeting. I'll never get invited to the meetings (probably because I wear Maui Jim sunglasses), but maybe you'll have better luck if you buy a pair. Remember Will Smith in Men in Black? If not, maybe you remember his sunglasses at least - they were Predator's, and yes, they were made by Ray Ban. 'Nuff said. Ray Ban sunglasses are stylish, high quality, and surprisingly not too expensive. Give 'em a try for yourself, and drop me a line if you ever figure out the secret club thing...
